Eat Local
This site and Food Routes below are favorite sites whenever we travel to a new destination. We simply log on to discover what local food resources are in the area. Locally grown and harvested products can be purchased either directly from the farmer at Farmers Markets, Farm Stands, U-picks, and by joining a Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) farm. Locally grown products can also be bought at restaurants, co-ops, and grocers that buy directly from farmers, ranchers, and fishermen. When you buy direct from local farmers, your dollars stay within your community, and strengthen the local economy. More than 90¢ of every dollar you spend goes to the farmer, thus preserving farming as a livelihood and farmland. Food Routes is a nonprofit organization that promotes locally grown food alternatives. A great place to discover how to support more sustainable eating.

Invisible Fitness
JJ FLizane, our friend and founder of Invisible Fitness takes a very different
approach to personal training. Before you get moving, she and her team of expert trainers, explore your individual strengths and weaknesses, diet, prior injuries, emotional state, fitness habits, body fat percentage, workplace stress, cardiovascular and skeletal condition, and even genetic/family history. We work in tandem and highly recommend IF, if you are interested in real results. Take a look at her web site and then give her a call.
