Ingredients
- 1 container TJ’s Organic Low Sodium Chicken Broth
- 1 cup water
- 1 container TJ’s Mirepoix- “Mirepoix” is the French word for the chopped combination of onions, celery, and carrots. TJ’s sells it ready to go in the produce section
- 2 tsp of Trader Joe’s 21 Seasoning Salute
- 1 package any spicy TJ’s Sausage- found in the fridge section
- 1 bag of TJ’s Kale (frozen)
Possible Additions to give it more body and soul
- 1-2 chopped white or red boiling potato
- 1 bag of cubed butternut squash
- I can organic chopped tomatoes
Directions
In a large pot, combine chicken broth, water, mirepoix, oregano, garlic powder, salt and black pepper. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low. Simmer for approximately 10 minutes or until the vegetables start to become tender. Cut each sausage in half and then half-inch slices. Add sausage and whole package of frozen kale to soup. Cook uncovered over medium low heat for approximately 10 minutes. Serves 3 Enjoy!
